Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent quickly hardening properties, working characteristics and hardening characteristics by using a composition prepared by mixing an inorganic component composed of Portland cement, alumina cement and gypsum in a specific ratio with a copolymer prepared by polymerizing a vinyl-based monomer mixture. SOLUTION: An inorganic component comprises Portland cement A, alumina cement B and gypsum C in the weight ratio of B/(A+B) of 0.05-0.4 and C/(A+B+C) of 0.02-0.45. A copolymer is obtained by polymerizing a mixture composed of one or more kinds of vinyl-based monomers D of formula I and one or more kinds of vinyl-based monomers E of formula II in the ratio of D/E (molar ratio) of 5/95-15/85 and has 2,000-500,000 weight-average molecular weight. The inorganic component in an amount of 100 pts.wt. is mixed with 0.1-9 pts.wt. of the copolymer. In the formula, R1 and R2 are each H or a methyl group; X is H or a 1-3C alkyl group; M is a monovalent or divalent cation; n is 110-150; m is 1 or 2.
