Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an home elevator to be effectively operated in accordance with the use form of the elevator. SOLUTION: A control panel for controlling a hoist is constituted so as to elevatingly control a car along two kind speed control curves 7 and 8. One side curve 7 is a speed characteristic at the time of operation for respective floors being resulting in moving a first story floor part, and the rated speed of the curve 7 is set to e.g. 12 m/min. Another side curve 8 is a speed characteristic at the time of the through operation of a two stories floors part from the first story floor 1FL to a third story floor 3FL, and the rated speed of the curve 8 is faster than the rated speed of the curve 7, and is set to e.g. 24 m/min.
