Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side roller cover capable of simply preventing rubber chips, mud or the like of a belt from scattering to the circumference by the side roller of a belt conveyor. SOLUTION: In a belt conveyor continuously provided with side rollers 2 on the sides for preventing slippage of the belt 1, a side roller cover 4 is constituted by providing scattering preventing plate 6 formed so as to surround the radial territory on the back of the side roller 2 centering around an abutting point of the belt 1 with the side roller 2.
