Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To crack the upper part of a large bailer article put on the upper part of a rotor having cutter blades of a cutting machine on the outer periphery during cutting the large bailer article into which soft waste is compressed and formed to enable proceeding with cutting. SOLUTION: In a cutting machine, a cutting chamber 2 to which a hopper 1 is attached above is installed on one side of a machine base 3, a polygonal prism like rotor 5 is horizontally disposed in a discharge port 4 of the cutting chamber 2, a lot of cutters 7 are fitted to the outer periphery of the rotor 5 so that parts of one end surfaces thereof form cutting edges, a planar fixed blade 8 having a cutting edge 8a engaged with cutting edges 7a of the cutters 7, facing the discharge port 4 are horizontally provided on the machine base 3, and on the other side on the machine base 3, a pusher 11 movable forwards and backwards for pressing material to be treated fed into the cutting chamber against the rotor 5 is installed. In the upper part on the rotor side, a cracking rotor 19 having plural pawls 20 at equally spaced intervals in the outer peripheral direction and a lot of pawls 20 in the axial direction is provided rotatably and movably forwards and backwards on the pusher 11 side is installed.
