Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the power saving of a device by providing a battery control part giving the instruction of charging to a power source circuit part based on the charging method of a storage part to a battery. SOLUTION: A user activates a battery setting part 11A being a setup program and sets charging. A selected charging method for a battery is preserved in a storage part 12 being NVRAM. When a system is activated, a battery control part 11B being a POST program sets the charging method to a power source circuit part 13 in accordance with the setting value of the storage part 12. When the inhibition of charging to the battery is set, the battery control part 11B sets the power source circuit part 13 so that the battery 14 is not charged. When the battery is set so that it can be used as a non-power cut source, the battery control part 11B sets the rate of the charging quantity of the storage part 12 in the power source circuit part 13 and the power source circuit part 13 charges the battery 14 within the charging rate. When charging to the battery is set, the battery control part 11B charges the battery 14 until it becomes full.
