Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a butterfly valve solving severe thermal and vibration problems in adjusting a boost of an internal combustion engine to a turbo charger. SOLUTION: An output shaft 44 of a continuously variable electric actuator 22 is rotatably connected to a butterfly valve 24 so as to be heat insulated. The butterfly valve 24 has a rotation position controlled by an input shaft 34 and the input and output shafts 34, 44 are rotatably connected via the minimum contact position and reduce the heat transfer. The both shafts 34, 44 are connected together similarly to minimize the heat transfer and the vibration transfer set. An intermediate connecting tube 58 or an intermediate shaft 58 interposed coaxially between the both shafts 34, 44 further reduces the heat transfer. The input and output shafts 34, 44 are rotatably connected to the intermediate shaft 58 by torsional spring mechanisms 68, 66, allow the input shaft 44 to move on the shaft in a limited range, and prevent the rotation hysteresis of the butterfly valve 24.
