PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce throughput by reducing handled image capacity when composited and to perform acceleration by extracting plural partial key images represented in an area occupying a part in a picture among key images showing the contour of an object in an image and compositing them to make a new key image. SOLUTION: A GUI 2 outputs a logical operation expression with which plural key images are composited by an external operation as an operation input instruction to an operation expression processing part 3 and also sends a key image of a closed curve of an object contour in an image, a coordinate position in its area and object contour information to a key image compositing part 4. The part 4 performs an operation shown in an algebraic operation stream from the part 3 by using the object contour information and the key image from the GUI 2. By this, the composition processing of each key image is performed and a composition key image being its composition results is outputted to a storage part 5. And, the storage part 5 stores a composition key image that undergoes composition processing from the part 4.
