SOLUTION: An optical fiber cutter is provided with an optical fiber folder installing part 3 on which an optical fiber holder 2 holding an optical fiber is to be installed, optical fiber installing parts 4a, 4b on which the optical fiber 1 held by the optical fiber holder 2 is to be set, optical fiber pressing parts 5a, 5b for pressing the optical fiber 1 set on the optical fiber installing parts 4a, 4b, a blade part 6 for damaging the optical fiber 1 pressed by the optical fiber pressing parts 5a, 5b, and a pressing part 1 for pressing and cutting the optical fiber 1 damaged by the blade part 6. Optical fiber installing V-grooves 9a, 9b is provided, for aligning the optical fiber 1 by the V-groove when the optical fiber 1 is set on the optical fiber installing parts 4a, 4b.
