Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire type lock which can be easily locked and unlocked to a vehicle in the standing posture and be simply operated to be deformed from the storing state to the use state, thereby improving handling efficiency. SOLUTION: This lock includes a wire rope 1 formed by a flexibly bent steel wire 2 and a coating material 3 made of soft resin covering the periphery of the steel wire 2 and lock devices 6 provided at both ends of the wire rope 1 to be freely engaged and disengaged with and from each other, and the wire rope 1 is installed in the annular state on a wheel to be locked. In this case, the wire rope 1 has elasticity, and the wire is previously formed in such a shape to be near the shape of the installed state. Further, the wire rope has restoring force to be returned to the initial shape in case of deformation.
