Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high-precision measurement of creep characteristics of small-sized material. SOLUTION: A minute test piece 3 is pinched between an installation stand 2 and an indenter 4, and compressive force is made to function as a load locally on the test piece 3 through the indenter 4. An environment adjusting means 13 for adjusting the surrounding environment of the test piece 3 and a measurement means 18 for measuring displacement of the indenter 4 relative to the test piece 3 are installed. The measured displacement is a function of the time. The compressive force is loaded locally on the minute region, a part of the test piece 3. The minute region is dented by the load. The measurement of creep characteristics is enabled by the dent of the minute region. |
