Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new narrow woven fabric having a high added value, having excellent characteristics and function and a wide application. SOLUTION: This narrow woven fabric 10 is composed of a warp 11 comprising a stretchable first warp 11a and unstretchable second warp 11b and a stretchability-free weft 12 driven into the warp 11 and has a part having stretchability and a part having no stretchability in the direction of warp 11. In the narrow woven fabric, the part having stretchability in the direction of warp 11 has small density of the weft 12 and the part having no stretchability has large density of weft 12 and elongation rate of the part having stretchability changes according to degree of density of weft 12.
