Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charger that can securely prevent an AC plug from being extracted from a receptacle by a simple configuration by replacing such a connection configuration as an AC power cord with the AC plug for achieving a simple configuration. SOLUTION: On the upper surface of a casing 1 where A charge or connection circuit is incorporated, an equipment-fitting part 3 is provided, where the part 3 retains portable-type terminal electronic equipment such as a portable telephone for charging while it is erected. On one side surface 1a of the casing 1, an AC plug 10 for connecting the charge or connection circuit to an AC commercial power supply is provided while the AC plug is freely inserted and extracted. At the lower part of the AC plug 10 on the one-side surface 1a, an elastic press member 13 is provided while the member 13 projects from the one-side surface la and is freely inserted and extracted by elastic deformation. When the AC plug 10 is inserted into the receptacle of a power supply, the elastic press member 13 is brought into contact with a wall surface around the receptacle of the power supply for pressing and is elastically buried up to a position nearly flush with the one-side surface 1a, thus giving rotary moment to a casing 1 by retrieve force toward the outside in a direction for pushing upward with the AC plug 10 as a support. |
