Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an editing system which edits the document data produced by adding the modification information to the text data and also uses a file form that can easily identify the modification information from the outside and to facilitate the editing jobs of publications. SOLUTION: A document editing system 100 puts together the document data 1 to 4 produced by adding the modification information (the designation of composition, etc.), to the text data consisting of characters, symbols, etc., into a publication (a printed matter, an electronic publication). That is, a file 9 having a tag that is notated by the tag produced by turning the modification information on the document data 1 to 4 into the text data is produced by an editing device 200. Then the text data included in each of document data are modified based on the tag notation of the file 9 for production of a publication.
