Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of providing a comfortable environment even at high temperature (high temperature region). SOLUTION: A heat-absorbing evaporator 18 and a peltier heat exchanger 30 are provided to a ventilation flue of an air conditioner, a refrigerant temperature sensor 32 detecting refrigerant temperature of the air conditioner and an air temperature sensor 31 detecting draft air temperature are provided, output of each of both sensors is connected to an input side of a controller, and an output side of the controller is connected to an input side of the peltier heat exchanger 30. Then, the controller decides heat-absorbing capacity based on both refrigerant temperature and draft air temperature, and in the case the heat absorbing capacity is insufficient, cooling capacity of the evaporator 18 is so controlled that it is supported by supplying an electric current to the peltier heat exchanger 30.
