Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for assembling vehicle seat into vehicle body, capable of attaining optimum roominess and a luggage space, and having excellent strength of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: This is a structure for assembling vehicle seat into vehicle body whose front sheet 10 is placed almost at the midpoint in the vehicle cross direction and which is disposed respectively on both sides of a front tunnel part 2 which extends to the front/rear direction of a vehicle body under a condition rising from a floor surface 3. The structure for assembling vehicle seat into vehicle body has a retaining plate 20 bridged in the vehicle cross direction between a floor tunnel part 2 and a center pillar 7 on the vehicle body side, and mounted at a prescribed height from a floor surface 3. The front sheet 10 is attached onto the holding plate 20 so as to cross the retaining plate 20.
