Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the control of an efficient operation including a collision prevention of a car and to use an inexpensive control device by constituting a car passage by a vertical passage to be used as a hoistway and a refuge chamber which is horizontally coupled with the vertical passage of a getting on/off floor and has a getting on/off port on the opposite side of the vertical passage. SOLUTION: A car passage is constituted of a vertical passage 1 to be used a hoistway of a car C and a plurality of refuge chambers 3 which are horizontally continuous to the front side of the vertical passage 1 on each getting on/off floor and have getting on/off ports 2 opened and closed by automatic doors on a surface on the opposite side of the side of the vertical passage 1. On the rear sides of uppermost and lowermost floors of floors (getting on/off floors) in which getting on/off for the car C of the vertical passage 1 are possible, that is, in the vertical passage 1 on the opposite side of a refuge chamber 3 (first refuge chamber) on the front side, a horizontally continuous refuge chamber 5 (second refuge chamber) is provided. In this case, the car C stored in this car passage has an entrance and exit opened and closed by a known automatic door on only the front side. Preferably, the second refuge chamber 5 is also provided with a getting on/off port 6 opened and closed by a known automatic door on the opposite side of the first refuge chamber 3. |
