Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize lower cost, a reduced quantity of waste fluid, storage of harmful waste fluid, and water examination by a reagent by providing both the supplier side water conduit pipe the consumer side water conduit each with plural water quality monitors, transmitting the measured results of the water quality monitors to a central control center, and subjecting a state of water quality of the whole water supply system to overall control. SOLUTION: Raw water of rivers, lakes and marshes, wells, and the like is purified to water quality good for drinking by a water purification facility 1 and is sent to a water supply facility 2. And the raw water is passed through a water supplier side end pipeline 6 and a consumer side pipeline 7 from the water supply facility 2 via a main pipeline 4 and a water supply system pipeline 5 and reaches consumers. Here, supplier side water quality monitors 8a each are provided on the main pipeline 4, the water supply system pipeline 5, the supplier side end pipeline 6, and the like. On the other hand, consumer side water quality monitors 8b each are fitted to the consumer side pipeline 7 and in the vicinity of a reservoir 10 of an apartment house 9 or a water meter of a single house 11. And output of the water quality monitors 8a, 8b is sent to a central control center 3 to subject it to data processing and to control operating conditions of the facilities 1, 2 so that water quality is made proper.
