Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute the driving circuit which can greatly suppress the current flowing to an active circuit element when a load is short-circuited and uses the active circuit element with relatively small electric power capacity as a driving circuit which drives the load by using the active circuit element by interposing a diode between the active circuit element and load. SOLUTION: A diode D1 for short-circuit current suppression has its anode terminal connected to the other end of a short-circuit current setting resistance R2 and its cathode terminal connected to the anode terminal of a diode D2 for short-circuit current suppression. The cathode terminal of the diode D2 is connected to one end of the load resistance RL and the emitter terminal of a transistor Q2 for short-circuit protection. Those mutually series-connected diodes D1 and D2 and short-circuit current setting resistance R2 constitute a short-circuit current determination part A which determines the value of the short-circuit current IS. Then the short-circuit current IS which flows when the load resistance RL is short-circuited is suppressed. |
