Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize, to make light in weight and also to obtain a resonator having an excellent loss characteristic, a filter, a duplexer and a communication device. SOLUTION: Conductor lines 2 and 3 are respectively in an almost ring shape that has a cut part C. The line 3 is internally provided in parallel with the line 2 at a prescribed interval and also the part C of the line 3 is arranged at the position that is different from the part C of the line 2 by 180 degrees. When current (i) respectively flows in the lines 2 and 3, e.g. in the direction shown by the arrows, electric energy is converged and stored in the neighborhoods of the open end parts 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b and magnetic energy is converged and stored in the neighborhoods of the central parts 2c and 3c. That is, this resonator R2 consisting of the two conductor lines 2 and 3 is adjacently arranged with an area where electric energy is converged and stored and an area where magnetic energy is converged and stored and they are separated from each other.
