Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the infiltration of unwanted external air or dust and to prevent the reduction of display definition by opening only a louver located on an upper surface corresponding to the rotation of a display part. SOLUTION: An outer package 4 covering the surrounding of a liquid crystal display panel is provided with an air hole 10 for longitudinal length and a shutter 12 for longitudinal length for opening/closing this air hole 10 for longitudinal length. In the case of arranging the liquid crystal display panel for longitudinal or lateral length, the air hole 10 on the side of upper surface is opened by sliding the shutter 12 through projections 9b and 9c and an operating lever 14a. On the other hand, an air hole 11 on the side of side face is closed by sliding a shutter 13 through projections 9a and 9b and an operating lever 14b.
