Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously form an ink pattern of a plurality of colors in one printing operation by constituting an ink transfer means for transferring ink to a print base of ballpoint pen bodies set for each print color with having a spherical ball at a leading end of a tubular body. SOLUTION: A print base 3 is moved on a rotary roll 2 and a ballpoint pen body 5 set to an ink-transferring means 4 is brought in touch with the print base, whereby an ink pattern 6 is formed on the print base 3. The ballpoint pen body 5 of a printing apparatus 1 is constituted by setting a ball 7 to a leading end, similar to a ballpoint pen. The ballpoint pen body 5 operates to descend only when printing is required and come in touch with the print base. Three kinds of ballpoint pen bodies 5 for transferring three, R, G and B color inks are used and therefore three color inks can be transferred onto the print base in one printing process. Ink is supplied to each ballpoint body 5 through a pump 9 from an ink reservoir 8.
