Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapy instrument that is compact, operable, and easy to handle, can cool or warm and dry an affected area to be treated, the mounting angle of which can be adjusted, can be directed to the skin of any local area of the affected area and can be mounted on a laser beam, a laser scalpel, ultrasonic scalpel, vibration massager and the like, wherein cool or warm wind is generated by a vortex tube by making it's temperature lower than the dew point of air to be compressed, the cleanness of air is increased, the oil content is reduced, and solid particles are removed as much as possible. SOLUTION: A vortex tube 9 is mounted to a handpiece such as a laser beam with a screw 16 through retaining hardware 14 and 15. Then, cool or warm wind is generated by pressurizing air with a liquid, air or oil-free scroll compression compressor, drying pressurized air with a heatless drier, and supplying it to the vortex tube, and a pipe 8 is connected through an electromagnetic valve and a filter.
