Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device to treat obstruction in the coronary artery that inhibits bloodstream to the cardiac tissue by enabling a perfusion route created with a cutting catheter extending from a locating catheter to extend only into a part of the cardiac muscle from the artery and permitting blood to flow to the cardiac muscle from the coronary artery. SOLUTION: The locating catheter 12 is advanced into the coronary artery that supplies blood to the cardiac muscle. When located in an appropriate position, a fixing device 24 is swollen so as to contact the locating catheter 12 to the artery to fix the locating catheter in the artery. Then, a cutting catheter 14 is inserted into an expansion lumen on the cutting guide wire, and advanced through the expansion lumen, and when the distal end comes out one of the expansion holes, the advance of the cutting catheter 14 and the cutting guide wire makes the cutting catheter 14 excavate a channel through the cardiac tissue. When fully advanced, it is removed from a patient, and by extending into the cardiac tissue from another expansion hole 30, other one perfusion route can be created.
