Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train information display device for displaying a train name, a destination, a car number and a car kind (unreserved seat, reserved seat, green (first class) and non-smoking, etc.), on the body of a train stopping at a station platform so as to be easily recognized by a user at the time of boarding on the train. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reception means 7 for receiving train guidance information from an operation management device, a projection means 2 for deflecting the character information on the train name, the destination, the vehicle number and the vehicle kind based on the train guidance information in a two-dimensional direction and projecting it by optical signals and a display means 5 for displaying the train guidance information. By the constitution, since train information is character-displayed on the screen of the vehicle during stoppage, the user confirms the information of his/her boarding vehicle at a glance.
