PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic collect call connection method capable of calling in a short time without needing intervention of an operation center. SOLUTION: An incoming call receiver telephone set for a collect call is equipped with an allowable telephone number holding memory 2 which registers a caller's telephone number which allows the collect call, a telephone number collation circuit 3, and a call connection circuit 4. When the caller's telephone number of a transmission ID from the caller which is received by a transmission ID reception circuit 1 and a collect call allowance telephone number held in the allowable telephone number hold memory 2 are collated to each other by the telephone number collation circuit 3 and the two are coincident, ringing is started and call is enabled on-hook. When a collation result is not coincident, an incoming call is once received and the call is disconnected. Automatic call incoming of the collect call only from a specified transmitter is enabled.
