Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit power demand after re-switch ON, and to quickly resume driving by maintaining stand-by driving (NAV1) for a continuous time related with the preceding driving station (NAV2) of a navigation device, and switching off the navigation device after the continuous time. SOLUTION: An arithmetic program is branched related with whether or not an active driving state NAV2, 3 without any guide to a destination is dominant, that is, whether or not driving is operated without any guide to the destination during active driving in an NAV2 (9). When the driving state NAV2, 3 is dominant, a continuous time T3, for example, one minute is applied (10), and the lapse of the time T is checked based on this (11). After the lapse of this time, the navigation device is switched off (12). When the guide to the destination is operated, a mean continuous time T2, for example, 10 minutes are decided (14), and after the lapse of this time, the navigation device is switched off.
