PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a more natural and colorful expression in the case of moving a character from air into water for instance. SOLUTION: The image processing method has processing (step D3) for previously calculating the individual centroid positions of plural face data constituting a three-dimensional model in an image as preprocessing and judging whether the centroid position of each of plural face data exists on one side divided by a specific face in the image or not, processing (step D4) for calculating the distance between the centroid position and the specific face when the centroid exists on one side and processing (step D5) for setting up and displaying the transmission factor of the face data of which centroid position exists on one side divided by the specific face in the image in accordance with the calculated distance.
