Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a can cover preventing rupture caused by score cracks when a can cover with a wide opening is loaded with an internal pressure. SOLUTION: An arc-shaped can cover is provided with a stay-on tab, and an axial line connecting the center 5 with an opening end 10 of a can cover forms a short axis in the shape of a breaking opening section 3, and a step section 9 corresponding to the end 10 of the breaking opening section 3 is cut partially, and wall sections 13a and 13b extending in the radius direction of the can over are formed on the cut section.
