Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically reset virtual local area network(VLAN) configuration information when a switching hub device is exchanged. SOLUTION: Concerning the switching hub device capable of setting and operating a VLAN, this device is provided with a VLAN information holding part 20 for holding the VLAN information of all the plural connected switching hub devices, a device exchange recognizing part 10 for recognizing the exchange of the other switching hub device from the inputted VLAN information, and a VLAN setting information generating part 11 for generating the VLAN setting information of the exchanged device by inputting the VLAN information from the VLAN information holding part 20 when the exchange of the device is recognized by the device exchange recognizing part 20, and sending VLAN setting information to the exchanged device.
