Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control the number of pumps for circulating a liq. absorbent and the set pH value of an absorption column without applying simulation. SOLUTION: A table for the number of circulating pumps vs. boiler load and a table for the set pH value of an absorption column vs. boiler load are prepared as shown in (b) and (c) based on the operational data. The number of the circulating pumps and the charge of alkali raw material are controlled as shown in (a) based on the tables so that the target outlet SO2 concn. is not exceeded after treatment. Although the desulfurization efficiency obtained in comparison with the target outlet SO2 concn. has some allowance, a high- grade computer for simulation need not be used, and the design, production, etc., of software are dispensed with. |
