Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize vibrations while running by forming a plurality of projections on the tread of an endless belt which serves as a caterpillar driving tread while satisfying a certain relationship among the tread angle, tread pitch and wheel width of these projections. SOLUTION: A caterpillar tread 10 that structures a bogie wheel is arranged is positioned around a power drive wheel, a plurality of idler wheels, and a plurality of bogie wheels 16. The caterpillar tread has a main body supporting a plurality of reinforcement plies that are calendar plies. Furthermore, on the outside of the tread 10, a tread provided with a plurality of exterior projections 32 is disposed. Where the tread pitch of these projections 32 is P, the tread angle a, and the wheel width B, the values are set to satisfy a relation of P= B*tan (a). Moreover, the tread is formed so that the maximum contact length and the minimum contact length of the tread when it contacts with one of the plurality of wheels is substantially constant.
