Summary:The process consists in utilizing the pressing force in order to act on elements for measuring said force and utilizing the measurement in order to adjust and correct automatically the supply and the pressure at which the press is to work. The equipment comprises a matrix of force sensors arranged with variable geometry on the lower cell 2 and/or upper punch 1, mounted on hydraulic, eccentric or friction presses, connected to a control system formed by analogue/digital converters, data processor, device for sensing the linear movement of advance of the supply carriage and servo valve for control of the hydraulic circuit, which assembly is intended for providing the elements for integral automation of the pressing operation.
