PURPOSE: To mordant grain by mordanting grain in a mordanting chamber, introducing it into a container for storage and neutralization to store in a prescribed time and additionally supplying a neutralizer into the container to neutralize it. CONSTITUTION: After filling a mordanting agent effective against infection by nematoda into a mordanting agent container 1, grain such as rice, oats, pea is introduced into the mordanting chamber 4 by a carrier unit 2 and the mordanting agent is introduced into the chamber 4 by a supplier 3. Next the grain is mordanted and supplied into a container 6 for storing and neutralizing by the unit 2. In addition, after making the grain stay in the container 6 in a prescribed time a neutralizer is introduced into the container 6 by a supplier 7 for neutralizer to neutralize the grain. After that, the grain is agitated by a mixing mechanism 8 and bagged with in a distributor 5 to complete the mordanting of the grain.
