Summary:Equipment (60) is connected to a housing (41) for driven movement from a stored position (Fig. 1) to a ready to use position (Figs. 2) upon release of a latch (125/118). A harness (48) secured to the housing is used for attaching the housing to the torso of a toy figure (35). Drive of the equipment is accomplished by a spring, the release of which may be governed. Manual return of the equipment back to the stored position rewinds the spring and the latch retains the equipment in the stored position. In other embodiments, the equipment (in the form of various weapons) is driven up toward or over the head, around the side from the back, or from the back between the arm and torso of the toy figure.
