Summary: | The cam switch uses an eccentric pulley with a radial recess into which a tooth shaped priminence engages in the end position of the pulley. The snail shaped pulley (13) has a recess (17) and is held against a driving lever (10) by a leaf spring (15). The prominent tooth (17) allows the driving lever (10) to drop into the recess when the pulley rotates. Further rotation of the pulley causes the lever to rotate the cam drum. Switching cycle periods of fractions of a second can be achieved compared with times of four seconds duration for existing cam switch drives.(DS). |
