Summary:Wrapping unit (B) and method to produce a sealed wrap (3) by folding a wrapping sheet (18) around a group (14) of smoking articles. The following are provided: a wrapping conveyor (39), which moves the group (14) of smoking articles coupled to the wrapping sheet (18) along a wrapping path (P3); a folding device (52), which is coupled to the wrapping conveyor (39), is configured to fold the wrapping sheet (18) around the group (14) of articles and comprises fixed folding blades (53, 54), which are arranged along the wrapping conveyor (39); a sealing device (55), which is coupled to the wrapping conveyor (39) downstream of the folding device (52) and is configured to form a seal on the wrapping sheet (18) folded around the group (14) of smoking articles; and a cooling system (91), which is configured to cool the fixed folding blades (53, 54) of the folding device (52).
