Summary: | The plug has a circuit board (44) on a longer side (57) of the part of the plug moulding (13) adjacent to an opening in a switchgear casing (12). The circuit board has components (47) on one side and right-angle bends (40) in conductors (39) protruding through the base (58) of a flat plug (14) to form its pins (37). An protective edge (51) running around the pins enters into contact with a seal around the socket when the plug is pushed into it and pressed home with the aid of a lever. Displacement of part of the edge and of a longitudinal wall (34) of the moulding allows an additional row of pins (56) to be accommodated. ADVANTAGE - More pins can be accommodated within flat plug moulding having same external dimensions, allowing increased connection possibilities. |
