Summary:A device and corresponding methods for identifying a monodispersed or moderately polydispersed particulate are described. The device comprises a containment space 1 (in which the fluid medium containing the particulate is placed) with which are associated means F0 for projecting light radiation and receiving means F1, F2 for receiving the diffuse radiation from the particulate. From the light signals received at various angles and at various wavelengths it is possible to determine the characteristics of the particulate under investigation. Viene descritto un dispositivo e relativi metodi per la caratterizzazione di un particolato monodispersivo o moderatamente polidispersivo. Il dispositivo comprende un vano di contenimento (1) (dove è disposto il mezzo fluido contenente il particolato) al quale sono associati mezzi (F0) di immissione di una radiazione luminosa e mezzi riceventi (F1, F2) di ricezione della radiazione diffusa dal particolato. Dai segnali luminosi ricevuti a vari angoli ed a varie lunghezze d'onda è possibile risalire alle caratteristiche del particolato in esame.(Fig. 1).
