Summary:System for processing green molding sand, especially for metal foundries, like cast iron foundries, comprising a computerized control system, an input path for the sand equipped with means of measuring the flow rate electrically connected to the control system, a sand recycling path intended to unload sand on the input path of control of the means of flow rate measurement, a rotary screen positioned downstream of the input path and fed by it, a wetting and cooling path of the sand positioned downstream of the screen and equipped with means of wetting piloted by the control system, means of detection of the temperature placed upstream and downstream of the screen, as well as downstream of the wetting and cooling path and electrically connected to the control system, a number of storage silos and a mixing mill positioned downstream of the wetting and cooling path, at least one of the silos being intended to feed said recycling path, whereas the other silos are capable of feeding the mixing mill, and an output path of the sand from the mill to one or more molding stations.
