Summary:PURPOSE: To form stable palletized load by wrapping periphery of stacked load with film after stacking a plurality of articles on a surface of pallet or integrating station. CONSTITUTION: When a turntable 12 is made right turn from 0 deg. to 360 deg., film 62 is taken out from a film reel 48. Before and after the turntable 12 starts rotation, a film elevator 16 rises along a vertical track 50 by signal from a controller of the palletizer 10, which is accompanied by opening of an upper micro switch 78. And because the film 62 is taken out in spiral with respect to stacked articles on the pallet 32 in accordance with rotation of the turntable 12 when the film elevator 16 rises, the film 62 starts wrapping the circumference of the load while being tightened with a film clamp 72. The first wrapping cycle is terminated when the palletizer 10 detected stacking of plural boxes at the uppermost layer. This procedure gives the stability of load with the best mechanical performance.
