Summary:In a washing machine with a programme-control device and with determination of the bound liquor, in which the attainment of a minimum filling height in the tub is detected by a level switch and, on the basis of this, a final filling height is set in a time-controlled manner, the quantity of rinsing water is added as a function of the bound liquor. In order to exclude the possibility of an incorrect determination of the bound liquor when the laundry drum is loaded with already dampened laundry, the programme-control device has a switching step, in which a spinning operation at a spinning speed above 300 revolutions per minute is first carried out before the start of the supply of fresh water into the tub.
