Summary:Programme-controlled washing machine with a washing drum (2), receiving the laundry and rotating in a tub (1), with at least one hollow laundry take-up rib (5) attached to the drum inner wall, a washing-liquor inlet and a washing-liquor outflow. The laundry take-up rib (5) is designed so that the liquor quantity picked up or scooped during the rotation of the washing drum is first accelerated and is thereafter brought to pressure and then ejected into the washing drum.
