| Summary: | The present invention provides hair straightening compositions comprising acrylic polymers configured to crosslink upon drying and thereby to form a film that is able to preserve hair in straightened conformation. Also provided is a hair straightening cosmetic formulation comprising said hair straightening composition and its use in straightening hair or preserving hair in a straightened conformation. The hair straightening effect is temporary and can be removed when the formulation is washed away in water or with shampoo. The cosmetic formulations of the present invention are ready to use formulations and may be applied frequently. |
