Summary: | Casting pattern is vented through metallic, ceramic or plastic based filter materials or their combination, with pores of 0.3-50 microns. Thee size of pores may be regulated in some cases. The plastic material used for the casting produces a wetting circumferential angle greater than 50 deg, depending on the conditions of processing. Thee wetting circumferential angle is produced by the filter material itself or by suitable treatment of it. - The casting pattern is formed so that: the filter material is located on its upper part, or on the planes of split, so that its ability to change position or shape is retained in some cases. Venting the pattern is demonstrated by the casting of insulation bodies contg highly tensioned, hollow, fibre reinforced cores. |
