Summary: | Proposed plant of 1-50 M3/HR capacity may be mounted on a lorry, trailer or in a container. Raw water is pumped to VLV-type mixer tubes where a coagulant is added. The water is also mixed with an adsorbent in powder form and saturated with oxygen before it is passed to a flocculator, and finally to a plate type clarifier. Part of the settled sludge is recirculated and the rest is removed. - Clarified water is passed to a rapid filter, treated with a sterilising chemical and stored in a treated water tank. |
