| Summary: | The invention relates to a safety helmet especially for racing sports, such as motorcycle racing, which has a shatterproof external shell structure, an energy-absorbing lining, cheek pads on both sides attached to the lining, a visor, a woven strap and a complementary piece suitable for adjusting the strap to the wearer's specific parameters. The solution according to the invention is based on that the strap (1) is taken around the entire head circumference inside the helmet, continuously, between the external shell (2) and the internal energy-absorbing lining (3), and it is attached to at least one of them in a cooperating way, for example via lamination, and along a part of the internal circumference of the helmet the longitudinal warps (1 1) of the fabric forming the strap (1) are incorporated between the lining (3) and the shell (2), spreading out like a fan from the direction of the open end of the helmet. |
