Summary:A device for collecting objects of reduced dimensions, in particular coins (10; 30), is arranged for a machine (1), in particular a gaming machine, from which coins (2) to be recovered are dispensable. The coin collecting device (10; 30) comprises an inner tray (14; 40) arranged for receiving the coins (2) dispensed by the machine (1) and an external panel (15; 31) bounding the inner tray (14; 40) externally to a user. The inner tray (14; 40) has a bottom wall (14a; 40a), opposite side walls (14d; 40d) and a front wall (14c; 40c), the walls (14a, 14c, 14d; 40a, 40c, 40d) of which are shaped for directing the coins (2) received to a collecting zone (26; 36) for collecting the coins (2). The coin collecting device (10; 30) comprises a recovery conduit (16) for recovering the coins (2) having an inlet opening (17) from which the coins (2) can fall to be recovered if they are moved by a user from the collecting zone (26; 36), wherein the inlet opening (17) of the recovery conduit (16) is positioned higher than the collecting zone (26; 36) and moreover the inner tray (14; 40) comprises a curved connecting wall (18; 32) that continuously connects the collecting zone (26; 36) to the inlet opening (17) to enable the user to guide the coins (2) from the bottom to the top from the collecting zone (26; 36) to the inlet opening (17) of the recovery conduit (16) resting on the connecting wall (18; 32), in which the connecting wall (18; 32) has a top edge (20; 33) that at least partially bounds the inlet opening (17).
