Summary:The invention relates to novel peptide and pseudo-peptide amides of the formulae (1) to (6), wherein wherein p-HOPA means p-hydroxyphenylacetic acid, D-MePhe stands for D-N-methylphenylalanine, MPA represents 2-amino-3-methylpentane and psi (CH2NH) is a methyleneamino group being present instead of a peptide bond, as well as their pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds as well as processes for preparing the compounds of formulae (1) to (6). The compounds according to the invention are useful for inhibiting the proliferation of cells of the small-cell and epithelial-cell lung cancer.
