Summary: | An internal fixation apparatus for bone fractures has a framework structure made up of, preferably, three channel bars (1) and two tension rings (2), each of the tension rings having at least one buckling structure and one fastening structure (3) so that it may be divided into two pieces and form a closed ring around the fractured bone. The edges of the channel bars (1) and tension rings (2) have teeth formed thereon for engaging with the bone so as to fulfil stable fixation. The directional arrangement of the teeth makes it possible to apply an adequate pressure to the fractured site by the patient's own body weight and muscle ccontruction. The apparatus is suitable for fixing various kinds of bone fractures and benificial to an even healing of the bone fractures and an improved strength of the healed bone. |
