Summary:The device has a washer (11) presenting a central hole (12) of diameter smaller than the diameter of an intermediate portion (8) of an axle (2) of a pinion (3). The washer is fixed on the intermediate portion by bolstering, sticking, setting or welding and maintains an escape wheel (1) in an axial position against the side of the pinion. The washer has projections housed against an outer side of central parts (6a) of elastic arms (6) of the wheel.
